Linda Louise Hogan

Died: Feb. 14, 2013

Linda Louise Hogan, 74, of Midway, passed away Thursday morning at the Johnson City Medical Center.

She retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center after 32 years of service.

Mrs. Hogan attended Union Temple Free Will Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include two daughters: Pam Hogan and fiancé, Melvin Lawhorn, of Mosheim, and Yvonne Byrd of Midway; two sons: Zahn Hogan and his wife, Louann, of Afton, and Ritchie Hogan of Midway; one son-in-law: Wade Byrd; one daughter-in-law: Michelle Wills; five grandchildren: Brandi Hogan and fiancé, Mark Turner, of Midway, Tenicia Hogan and fiancé, Brandon Clark, both of Chuckey, Dylan and Hannah Byrd of Midway, and Jackson Hogan of Afton; one stepgrandchild: Jada Byrd of Greeneville; three great-grandchildren: Mason, Brianna, and Bella Turner, all of Midway; one stepgreat-grandchild: Bailey Fair; one brother-in-law: Ted Hogan of Mosheim; one special niece: Cathy Hogan of Mosheim; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special friend: Shirley Roark.

She was preceded in death by her husband: J.K. Hogan; her parents: Kelley and Pearl Jones; brother: Danny Jones; sister: Mary Raines; and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bill and Shug Hogan.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Oscar McAmis will officiate.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Chapel Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Rodney Hogan, Elbert Hogan, Brandon Clark, Mark Turner, James Myers, Melvin Lawhorn, Kevin Shelton, and Landon Duckett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Jones, Wade Byrd, Teddy Hogan, Dr. Tran, Dr. James McKinney, and Dr. Dharmen Patel.
