She was preceded in death by her father, Ted Wharton; and is survived by her mother, Jackie Wharton; brother, Craig ( Wharton; husband, Jeff Hubbard; and daughter, Thea (Dan) Ramey, Claire Hubbard, Sidney Hubbard; and Sherry has three grandchildren, Ashton, Shawn and Jalyn.
Sherry graduated from Lancaster High School with The Class of 1969 and School Colors were Purple and Gold and was a proud member of the Band of Gold. She graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy. She worked at Starlight (ES WEyant) School in Newark, Ohio and Forest Rose School in Lancaster as a Speech Therapist.
FUNERAL services for Sherry will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 North Columbus Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Pastor Robert McDowell will officiate. Burial will follow the service at GRANDVIEW Cemetery, Bremem, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in honor of Sherry may be made to the "Sherry Hubbard Technology Fund" for adaptive communication devices for the kids at Forest Rose School. Contributions can be sent to the , 162 East Main Street, P.O. Box 159, Fairfield County Foundation Lancaster, Ohio 43130
