LaFAYETTE Kenneth Lavaughn Loggins, 76, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at his residence.He was a member and deacon at LaFayette First Baptist Church. He taught Sunday school at Cozy Manor for several years.He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Loggins and Idell Loggins Copeland; and a brother, Rev. Harlin Loggins.Survivors are his wife: Alice Lewis Loggins; daughter, Lynne (Larry) Murkerson, of LaFayette; son, Ken (Yvonne) Loggins, of Marietta; sister, Bobbie (Dewey) Everett, of LaFayette; brother, Don Loggins, of Atlanta; three grandsons, Jason Gilstrap, Patrick Loggins, Kevin Loggins; and one granddaughter, Kelly Loggins; sister-in-law, Barbara Loggins; several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the LaFayette First Baptist Church with Rodney Blaylock and Roger Stansell officiating.Interment will be in LaFayette Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LaFayette First Baptist Church.Pallbearers are Bruce Coker, Dannis Hood, James Ingram, Larry Little, Kim Millican, Max Morrison, Bruce Parrott and Guy Pope.
