Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Wissink were held Monday at 1:00 at the home of her son, Gerrit Wissink, and 1:30 at the First Reformed church with Rev. A. A. Dykstra officiating. Interment was made in the Carmel cemetery.

Daadje Harmelink was born January 7, 1869 in the Netherlands. She came with her parents at the age of ten to the United. States and settled in Wisconsin. The family moved to Iowa when she was a young girl.

She was united in marriage to Maarten Wissink, February 18, 1891. Six children were born to this union. Her husband preceded her in death on June 30, 1907.

The couple made their home around Rock Valley and Sioux Center and Mrs. Wissink had lived in the vicinity of Rock Valley for 35 years. She had lived with her son Gerrit and family for the past 23 years. She died Thursday, March 18.

She is survived by three sons and three daughters: John, Minnie (Mrs. John Vander Sanden), Josie (Mrs. Peter Vande Velde Sr.), Gerrit, Henrietta (Mrs. Hein Vande Weerd), and William, all of this vicinity; 19 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, William Harmelink, of Sheboygan Falls Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Obbink of Cedar Grove, Wis. And Mrs. Minnie Post of Rock Valley.

Pall bearers were her six grandsons: Martin Vande Velde, Peter Vande Velde, Jr., Clarence Vander Sanden, Bernard Wissink, Richard and Willard Wissink. Vander PIoegs Funeral Service of Sheldon was in charge.
