Tommy Black, age 78, of Proctor, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013, in Burleson, Texas. He was born on September 10, 1934, in Colorado City, Texas, to W. H. and Molly Blanche (Lunceford) Black. On August 7, 1954, he was united in marriage to his best friend, Daisy Davis in Robert Lee, Texas, and for many years Tommy worked as a carpenter. He was a member and Deacon of Proctor Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy Black of Proctor; two sons Tommy Lee Black, Jr., and wife Linda of Burleson, and Randy Scott Black of Proctor; three daughters, Sylena Taylor and husband Tom of De Leon, Molly Hocutt and husband David of Corsicana, and Patty Joslin and husband Gary of De Leon; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Swann and husband Smokey of Odessa; brother, Rodney Black and wife Camila of Del Rio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Martin Gage Chapa; and his parents, W.H. and Molly (Lunceford) Black.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Proctor Cemetery.
LUNCH: Family will have lunch at Proctor Baptist Church at 12:30 P.M. Saturday.
