Tony leaves behind his devoted wife Marilyn (Baczkowski) Bovee of the home; his daughter Bridgettee Burnside and husband Mike of Ozark, Missouri; three grandchildren Sarah Myers and husband Caleb of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ashley Burnside and Ryan Burnside both of Ozark, Missouri, his soon to arrive great-grand son Ethan Myers of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his mother Alverda Bovee of Apple Valley, California; his sister Sandra Lirley and husband Mike of Apple Valley, California; two brothers Tracy Bovee and wife Theresa of Dana Point, California and Alan Bovee and wife Debbie of Belen, New Mexico; six nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other dear family and friends.
A retired maintenance mechanic for Libby Glass in Industry, California, Tony found favor in working with his hands. He lovingly raised his family in the high desert of California before moving to the Diggins area eight years ago. Tony enjoyed the Ozark hills and transporting area Amish in his van.
He is a member of the Assembly of God. Tony lived his faith. He served his Lord by giving to others, loving his family and seeking ways to bring joy to those who knew and loved him. Even in the hard times he found the humor in life. "Two ears to listen with and a mouth to use", Tony left laughter, love and treasured memories. He never knew a stranger, and was a trusted friend.
The big guy in overalls with a big smile and a joke or riddle ready to share; Tony E. Bovee, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend.
