A.P. Ferris is Dead
A.P. Ferris died at his home in this city Tuesday morning of apoplexy following Bright's disease. He had been afflicted with the latter named disease for some time.
Funeral services were held at the residence Thursday afternoon, Rev. S.L. Semans conducting, and the remains were interred in the Delphos Cemetery.
Mr. Ferris was a member of the AOUW and the Knights and Ladies of Security. He leaves a wife and several grown children. An obituary will be published next week.

Andrew P. Ferris was born in Greenwich, Conn. on May 28, 1844, and died in Delphos, Kans. May 30th, 1905, after a protracted illness of several months.
Mr. Ferris was one of a family of six children born to William and Mary Ferris, of which two brothers and one sister survive.
On April 21st 1864 he was united in marriage with Miss Phoebe M. Briggs at Franklington, New York. To them four children were born,; Mrs. Rosa M. Playmate, of Barnard, Kas., Mrs. Emma R. Clark, of Delphos, Kas., Irwin W. Ferris, of Delphos, Kas., and Mrs. Bessie A. White, of Bennington, Kas., all of whom, together with his wife, survive him.
In the year 1878 be brought his family to Kansas and located in Mitchell County for a short time, then moved to Delphos, where he had since resided the greater part of the time and engaged in the livery business and the buying and shipping of horses.
Andrew P. Ferris was a loving husband and father and a good and worthy citizen. We mourn his demise.
