She was the loving wife of Alex L. Harris.
Born in Frederick, on Dec. 24, 1966, she was the daughter of Bernard Walter, of Frederick and Patsy Burns Alexander, of Frederick.
Tina was a wonderful wife, daughter and an awesome mother, she gave all to her family. She was very active with all her boys' school activities and also was active with the sports boosters.
Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are her three sons, Dale Justin Carter, Steven Taylor Carter and Austin Cole Carter; her mother's fiance, Dave Hauger; and step-mother, Charlene Walter. She will also be sadly missed by her father and mother-in-law, Phil and Claudia Harris; many aunts, uncles and cousins, including special aunts and uncles, Gene Burns, Susie May, William Burns, May Burns and Linda Kuykendall; and her three puppies.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Raymond and Harriett Burns; and a cousin, Alton Duncan.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church St., Frederick.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at the funeral home. The Rev. Timothy S. May will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tina Carter-Harris Fund, c/o PNC Bank, 2 East Patrick St., Frederick, MD 21701 (to benefit her sons); or to the American Diabetes Association Maryland Office, 800 Wyman Park Drive, First Floor, Baltimore, MD 21211.
