Billy Van Fleming, 74, of Batesville died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, in a Batesville hospital.

Born May 18, 1938, at Batesville, he was the son of Walter and Mary Lee Fleming. He was retired from ConAgra Foods in Batesville. He was a member of West Baptist Church in Batesville.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Roberts Fleming; three sons, Tony Fleming, Sammy Fleming and Danny Fleming, all of Batesville; two brothers, Walter Fleming of Batesville and Charles Fleming of Cave City; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary Louise Wilson.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Qualls Funeral Service Chapel with Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery at Batesville.

Pallbearers will be Sky Clark, Don Creighton, Randy Stevens, Bart Turner, Scott Davidson and Alan Moore.

Honorary pallbearers are Ed Shaver's Sunday school class: Ed Shaver, Rick Caudel, Wallace Biddle, Edward T. Jones and Charles Traw.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
