Bette Louise Boehme, 71, of Litchfield died at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield with the Rev. Jonathan Bontke officiating.
Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.
Ms. Boehme was born in Litchfield on Jan. 23, 1942, the daughter of the late Edwin John "Skip" and Norma Louise (Niemann) Boehme.
She graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1960 and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, where she was active with Zion Ladies Aid, the church choir and had participated in "The Promise."
Over the years, Ms. Boehme worked as a greeter and hostess for Wendy's Restaurant, St. Francis Hospital Pharmacy and Clean Towel Service, all in Litchfield, and she did lawn work.
She is survived by two brothers, Ronald (wife Gwen) Boehme of Mt. Olive and the Rev. Dr. Armand (wife Judith) Boehme of Northfield, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Boehme was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Boehme.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Evergreen Place, both in Litchfield.
