Delbert E. "Mick" Phillips TIOGA - Delbert E. "Mick" Phillips, 65, of Tioga, Nicholas County, W.Va., died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, in CAMC Memorial Hospital at Charleston.

Born Oct. 9, 1937, at Craigsville W.V. he was a son of the late Admiral Dewey and Media Myrtle Ellison Phillips. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Dewey Junior Phillips; and by one sister, Beulah VanMeter.

He was a member of the Birch River Baptist Church at Birch River, was a retired machinist for Hyper Machines, was a member of the Nicholas County Memorial Golf Club, and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Lilly "Molly" Dodrill Phillips; one son, Robert Eugene Phillips of Porter, Texas; two daughters, Peggy Lucky and Kathy Phillips, both of Craigsville; three brothers, Charles of Parma, Ohio, Cecil of Orlando, Fla., and Wilburn "Web" of Nettie; two sisters, Marada O'Quinn of Summersville and Onalee Keener of North Ridgeville, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, in the White Funeral Home at Craigsville with the Rev. Robert Friend officiating. Interment will follow in the West Virginia Memorial Gardens at Calvin.
