Jane Russell Eden, 93, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Jane was born November 15, 1919 in Cleveland. She was formerly of Columbia Station, Ohio.
She played short stop and right field for the Erin Brew Women's Baseball team in the 40s and retired from the present day Northrup Grumman Co. in Cleveland. She enjoyed line dancing, trading baseball cards and flea markets in her later years.
She is survived by her niece, Billie Kissire of Morrilton; niece, Shelley Aldrich of McMinnesville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Elsie Wilson of Gainsville, Floridida; nephew, Jack Wilson of Altamonte Springs, Florida; her great great niece, Christy Camp, who was her primary caregiver for the last year; numerous other great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and two great great great nephews.
A special thank you to Arkansas Hospice in home team for their wonderful care the past couple of months.
She will be buried in Columbia Cemetery in Columbia Station, at a later date.
