Passed away December 14, 2007 at his home Davenport, WA. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Iona Paulsen, at the home; one daughter, Penny and Bob Piper of Davenport, WA; and one grandson, Mike and Jodi Piper of Davenport. He has two great-grandchildren, Justin and Emma Piper, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Donald Piper; and two sisters, Florence Paeper and Elsie Michaelsen. He was a member of the Danish Brotherhood of America and the Odd fellows Lodge. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel Of Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, WA with Pastor Bill Ward and Father Pat MacMahon, officiating. Concluding services and Vault Interment at Mt. View Cemetery, Davenport, WA. Memorials may be made to the Reardan FFA Boosters Scholarship Fund or to the Lincoln Hospital Foundation.
