Dr. Ernest W. "Skip" Stiller 68, passed away suddenly at 11 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at his New Buffalo residence.
He was born June 7, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Ernest W. Sr. and Marian (Holfelner) Stiller and lived in the La Porte area since 1975.
He was the first Valedictorian to have a perfect 4.0 grade point average from Chesterton High School in 1962, graduated with Honors from the University of Chicago Medical School, practiced medicine as a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon in the La Porte area from 1975-1992, and was a member of the Army Reserves.
Loving Father of daughter Amy (Casey) Sanders, Deerfield, Illinois; four sons, Scott (Martha) Stiller, Chicago, Illinois; Sean (Deanna) Stiller, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; Stephen (Kara) Stiller, Chicago, Illinois; and Saxon Stiller, La Porte, Indiana. Beloved grandfather to Alaina and David Sanders.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday February 14, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at Essling Funeral Home with Rev Ian Williams officiating.
