Reunited with his parents and a sister, Donald Howard Martin was born to Charlie and Marguerite Annie Womack Martin in Oxford, Kansas on March 4, 1936. His last trip to the grocery stores with his coupons was November 25, 2004. He passed away from complications of leukemia December 3, 2004.

A graduated of Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, he served his country in the Army. A dedicated employee of Continental Oil Company for 17 years, Don retired from the State of Utah after 22 years.

Very outspoken and honest, he liked to tell stories of his childhood. He kept many lifelong friends, enjoyed golf, cooking, fishing, working in his beautiful yard and his free trips to Wendover to eat shrimp with Larry.

Beside his wife, Sherry, he survived by his children Tracy, Matthew, Mary, Tom, Kathy, and Paul; grandchildren, Lucas, Lance, Brett, Myles, Cole, and Charlotte; and his brother, Womack.
