Mrs. Munkers Passes
Burial for Mrs. Ella Munkers, whose illness of long standing terminated in death at Albany General Hospital March 28, 1931, was Monday afternoon in the Miller cemetery near Shelburn. Mrs. Munkers was one of the pioneer residents of Scio and vicinity and had many friends among the old-timers and others. She was patient and forbearing throughout her prolonged ordeal and met her fate with true fortitude. Among the survivors of her immediate family are daughters Mrs. Lena Lucius, Los Angeles, and Dorothy Wilson, Minnesota, and her son, George Wilson, Nebraska. A brother, E. A. Woodmansee, and a sister, Mrs. I. A. Munkers, also survive.
