Eric was a junior at Harrison High School, where he was a member of the concert and marching bands. The marching band recently won a first and second place in competition. He also was on the tennis team. He enjoyed all kinds of music, played the trumpet, and taught himself to play the piano.
He attended St. Thomas Aquinas Church, where he was a member of the Senior High Youth Group, and would have been confirmed in April with the present confirmation class.
Surviving with his parents are two sisters, Michelle Graves and Jeanette Graves, both at home; maternal grandparents, Francis and Pauline Mailloux of Fowler; and paternal grandparents, Ronald and Noreen Graves of Lafayette.
