John Elmer Shipley 1923-1923
Dorothy Mae "Dot" Shipley 1926-2007 (md. Jacob McKinley Wills)
Doyle William "Bud" Shipley 1929-1990 (md. Lennis A. Johnson)
Hester Juanita "Trixie" Shipley 1931-2001 (md. Edward James Rollins)
Ruth Laura Shipley 1934-2015 (md. Pierce F. Knipp)
Charles David Shipley 1934-1934

Faye Ruby Shipley 1942-2016 (md. 1st, Frank McGowan; 2nd, George Gunter)

On January 23, 1943 Selma married Troy Jackson Morelock and they had the following children:

Edna Ruth Morelock 1944-2016 (md. Jerry Randal Holt)
Mary Kathleen Morelock 1948-1948
Troy Myrl Morelock 1948- (md. Teresa Swatzell)
Donald Ray Morelock 1949- (md. Janice Irene Morelock)

Selma was a "peppery" little woman who didn't pull her punches with anyone, but was also full of love for family and friends.
She loved to cook, and big family dinners were often held at her home. Providing food for the Fire Department dinners and Church Fellowship Meals was something she took great pride in.
She worked at Laughlin Clinic for several years, and then worked on their dairy and tobacco farm. She helped with hay and tobacco, milked, kept chickens, raised huge gardens, and canned a lot of food!
She was called "Mamaw" by her grandchildren and all of their friends.

Selma passed away suddenly when her heart gave out during dialysis, which she was receiving after being hospitalized with sepsis which started with an infected toe. Diabetes and heart problems were also factors.
