She was born March 10, 1912, in Pickens, Miss., the daughter of Elisah and Emma Wilson Sims.
She married Francis R. Acton in December 1938 in Billings. She worked as an OB nursing aide at West Park Hospital and was employed at the Buffalo Bill Village Chuckwagon.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints First Ward in Cody. She enjoyed her family, friends and family home.
She is survived by her son Donald R. Acton of Cody, brother Joe Sims of Mississippi, sister Irene Powers of Florida, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis, daughter Barbara Jean Acton and two grandsons.
Family services were Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
