She was born September 22, 1926 in Morgan County, KY and raised in Johnson City, KY. She attended Bronson Church of God and Hayden Enterprise Baptist Church, Hilliard, OH. She was a loving mother with a heart of gold, who spent many years as a foster parent and nurse's aid. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel & Maranda Jane (Pennington) Rowland, husband George Jackson, 2 infant grandchildren, sisters Lucy King, Cora Estep, Effie Payne, Mary Alice Estep, and Rosie DeLong, brothers, Lundy Rowland, Russell Rowland, and Charles Willis Rowland. She is survived by loving children Barbara (Steve) Johnson of Williston, Georgene (Michael) Lane of Plain City, OH, William (Diane) Jackson, of Branford, special nephew Eddie (Nancy) Jackson of Plain City, OH 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, sister Della Jean (Clayton) Boggs of Mt. Vernon, OH. Funeral Services were held on October 18, 2008 at Bronson Church of God, in Bronson, Fl. with Rev. Jim Waldron officiating.
