CLEAR WATER, Fla. - Funeral Services and Mass of Christian Burial for L. Nadine Schultz, 84, formerly of Davenport,will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 916 E. Rusholme St., Davenport. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday at the Gathering Space at St. Paul's. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.
Nadine died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, FL.
Louise Nadine Jackson was born Jan. 19, 1929, in Concordia, Kan., the daughter of Vernon A. and Gertha Madge (Bowen) Jackson.
She was united in marriage to William T. Schultz, Jan. 7, 1953, in Cedar Rapids. He preceded her in death Nov. 12, 1998.
Nadine was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor, Fla. and a former member of St. Paul the Apostle, Davenport and the Catholic Service Board. She also volunteered for Safety Harbor Public Library. Nadine enjoyed water aerobics, reading, but most of all was happiest when she was around family.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Beth and Dean Halsey, Riverdale; grandchildren, Brandon Nelson, Shanna Schultz, Dean Jr. (Amy) Halsey, James (Tina) Halsey and Rebekah (Fred) Bickett; sisters, Ruth (Don) Greenblatt, Safety Harbor, Fla. and Sandy (Larry) Wendel, Wichita, Kan., and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
Nadine was preceded in death by her husband William; a daughter, Mary K. Schultz, Feb. 22, 1960; Greg T. Schultz, Sep. 5, 1994, and Vaughn "Wolf" Schultz, Nov. 20, 2012. May they rest in peace.
