GLASS, JACK W., 82, loving husband to Wanda Watson Glass, passed away with family by his side Monday, February 11, 2013 at Baptist Hospital East.

Jack was a retired assembler for General Electric and a member of Valley Station Church of Christ. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean conflict. And he loved to fish and was an avid UK basketball fan.

He was preceded in death by parents James L. and Zora Jennings Glass; one sister and four brothers.

Besides his wife of 58 years, he is survived by children Tony Glass (Susan), Sherry Hernandez, and Dean Glass (Theresa), along with grandchildren; Jeremy, Jennifer, Joshua, Brianna, Savannah, and great grandchildren; Austin, Gage, Jazmein, Abigayle, Jaydon, and Justice as well as his sister Laverne Akers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy., Louisville. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
