Cathy Diann Richards, 53, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel with Charlie Cox officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Midway, Ark., with the Rev. Joann Cross officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Cathy was born Sept. 28, 1959, in Little Rock, Ark., to James Edwards and Ruby Dove. She was raised in England, Ark., before moving to Panhandle at age 15. Cathy married Marshall Richards in Panhandle more than 30 years ago. She was a kindhearted woman who showed great intelligence. She enjoyed reading and loved to remodel and decorate her home. Above all, Cathy enjoyed being a grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Anthony; her father, Jack Anthony; and a brother, Jackie Anthony.

Survivors include her husband, Marshall Richards of White Deer; two sons, Jack Richards and fiance Brittnie Rowland and Cecil Rich III, all of White Deer; two daughters, Brandy Rich of Amarillo and Jessica Rich of White Deer; her father, James William Edwards of Russelville, Ark.; three brothers, James David Edwards of Demascus, Ark., Charles Anthony and wife Betty of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mitchell Anthony of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Karen Munyan and husband Monte of Greenbrier, Ark., and Uarsala Anthony of Oklahoma City; a brother of the heart, Robin Herron of Fairbanks, Alaska; a sister of the heart, Theresa Garcia of Panhandle; in-laws, Sherman and Nelda Jones of White Deer and Robert and Doretha Richards of McLean; seven grandchildren, Wyatt, Dillon, Lili, Zackary, Sean, Rodie and Avrie; and her beloved pet, Angel.
