Mr. Taylor was born in Wayne County near Wynoose where he was married to Mary Newberry, who passed away May 23, 1970.
Mr. Taylor lived near Noble for a time until moving to Central Illinois many years ago. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Waddington Funeral Home at Tuscola with burial in Tuscola Cemetery.
He is survived by the following relatives: Eight daughters, Mrs. Burt Ayres, Garrett; Mrs. Joseph Schuster, Waukegan; Mrs. Clinton Emberton, Danville; Mrs. Joseph Mittsdarfer, Sadorus; Mrs. Carl Snyder, White Heath; Mrs. Gene Leathers, Urbana; Mrs. Shelby Morris, Peoria; Mrs. Hattie Bixler, Springfield; son Marion R., Peoria; 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; brother Walter, formerly of Olney.now in Florida, sister, Laura Doan, Gifford.
