Obituary -
Wade Douglas Ward, 48, Spokane, died Saturday, June 29, 2002 in Spokane. He was born June 19, 1954 in Coeur d'Alene to Anna May (Leonard) and Jimmy D Ward.

Wade was a long-time resident of the Coeur d'Alene area. After graduating from Coeur d'Alene High School, he entered the U S Army and served as an MP during the Vietnam War.

For the past 15 years, Wade has resided in Spokane. He worked in the construction field, and was a member of the Teamster Local No. 960. He was an animal lover and especially enjoyed his dogs. He liked camping and travel-the Caribbean Islands were his favorite destination.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather Anna May and Charles Holmes of Reno, Nev., brothers John H Ward of Athol and Jimmy Leonard Ward of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters Shirley Ward of Coeur d'Alene and Vicky Ward of Coeur d'Alene and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy in 1991.

Memorial services will be held at pm Wednesday at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene. Contributions can be made to the Union Gospel Mission 1224 e Trent Ave. Spokane 99202.
