Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Cheryl Jean Wyatt, 54, who passed away on January 21, 2011 at 10:23AM at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Reverend Steve Fife, Pastor of, Asbury United Methodist Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Wyatt, a resident of Alexandria, LA, was the daughter of the late Cleo James Wyatt of Fisher, Illinois and the former Ruth Hinman of Flora, Illinois. She was a very loving and special person who warmed everyone's heart with her smile. She was a resident at Pecan Grove Training Center, a close knit family of special needs people, for over thirty years and loved participating in the workshop there with everyone, especially her counselors and special friends, Brenda and Stacie. She loved her outings with her family, especially shopping, and going to eat at Picadilly
She is survived by two sisters, Beverly Wyatt Weatherford of Breaux Bridge, LA and Connie Wyatt Nelson of Clearwater, FL; three brothers, Jimmy Wyatt of Urbana, IL, William Wyatt of Lafayette, LA and Robb Wyatt of Clearwater, FL; numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother in law, Troy Weatherford.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Richard Weatherford, Robert Weatherford, Kyle Weatherford, James Wyatt, Robb Wyatt, and William Wyatt.
