Bonnie Matthews, 70, of Lennox, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Sanford U.S.D. Medical Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Bonnie Jean McKew was born on December 18, 1942, in Shelby, Ohio, the daughter of James and Evelyn (Miksel) McKew. She attended the Ohio State School of Cosmetology. She then moved to California and worked as a beautician. She went on to work in retail sales eventually being promoted to payroll manager for the Strouds company.

In 1994 she moved to Lennox, South Dakota where she continued to live. Bonnie was an active and faithful member of the Lennox Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed women's Bible studies and her weekly Bible study while a resident at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center. She enjoyed puzzles and loved her cat.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.

Grateful for having shared her life are daughters: Cyndi Schnabel and Mark Wudel, Tea and Corri (Scott) Wentzel, Baltic; four grandchildren: Matt, Traci, Houston and Kyle; siblings: Bill (Lee) McKew, Mountain Center, CA, Becky (Jerry) Hallibrin, Mansfield, OH and Bob (Doris) McKew,
