Pearl Dykstra Is Summoned
Helena--Pearl S. Dykstra, 63, of 572 Highland, widow of the late Daniel Dykstra, died Thursday morning at St. Peter Hospital, where she had been a patient since Dec. 19.
Mrs. Dykstra was born April 27, 1891, in Stanislau, Austria, the daughter of Fred and Anna Solly. She came to the United States at the age of three, settling first in Portage, Cascade County, before moving here in 1914.
She was preceded in death by her husband on March 15, 1938, and a son, George, a U. S. Navy flier, who was killed in 1943 at Corpus Christi, Texas.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Dykstra, Union Bank and Trust Co. trust officer; two grandchildren, and a brother and sister in Canada.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Retz chapel. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery.
