Mrs. Mary Elizabeth ''Bibs'' Wheeler Lomax , 75, of 1-4 Neal St., died Thursday, Oct. 12, 1995, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Austin Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Travis Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Lomax , a native of Saluda, was a retired schoolteacher from Roswell Elementary and Middle schools, a member of Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, a graduate of Lee H. Edwards High School, Ashville, a 1941 graduate of Winthrop College and a graduate of Oglethorpe College.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Watson Lomax II; a son, Daniel W. Lomax III, Trenton, N.J.; and a grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Hospicecare of the Piedmont Inc., Greenwood Medical Center, Greenwood, S.C. 29646, or to Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, 101 North Calhoun St., Saluda 29138.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ramey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lomax died Thursday, Oct. 12, 1995. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Luther Emanuel and Mary Beth Webb Wheeler. She was graduated from Winthrop College and received a master's degree from Oglethorpe College. She retired as a teacher.

Surviving are her husband, Daniel Watson Lomax II; a son, Daniel Lomax III of Trenton, N.J.; and one grandchild.
