Stella Crews Bolton went home to be with her Lord God and her Family on November, 26, 2011. She was born in 1923 in Winokur, Georgia, to parents Richard and Tena Crews, (Deceased). She is predeceased by her brothers, Jesse, Jimmy, Willis, Richard Jr, and Albert Crews, Sisters, Ila Phillips, Lizzie Johns, Lessie Mae Crews, Vircey Crews and Vergie Butler.
She married the love of her live Bon Bolton (deceased) and they had one daughter from that union, Bonnie Bolton, (deceased)
She leaves behind many nieces and 2 nephews Bonita Lambert (Mike), Harold Phillips(Cindy), Sherry Fletcher (Bud), Lou Deen Sagues, Deceased, Willene Bowling, (Arthur), Bernice Register, Deceased, and her daughter Carmen Lawson son Dale, Delores Ure (David), Vanice Serrano(Vince), Raquel, Miranda, Emily and Vance Butler Jr.(Gary Fraas). She had been in failing health for the past seven years and had lived with Vance and Gary. Vance was her Primary care taker of whom loved her dearly and loving referred to as her son. Vance and Gary were her boys. A Baptist by Faith, she was a member of the Winokur Baptist Church of which her Mother Tena was a founding member then later became a member of the Murray Hill Baptist Church until her passing. She was involved with many Garden Clubs over her life as she loved gardening flowers and vegetables. Mrs. Bolton was also a member of The NARF Chapter in Jacksonville for many years. She was a 50+ years member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Riverside Chapter#217. She was a Homemaker, Crafts and Sewing expert and worked as a bookkeeper for Baptist Hospital and later for Sam Caruso Electric and Cedar River Marina. She leaves many friends with good and happy memories, as when you meet her she would have made an impression on you that you would never forget. Family and friends was very important to her and she loved to laugh. Thanks to her care giver Maggie Brown, and support from Urban Jacksonville, The Cathedral Foundation, Dr Albert A Lopez and Staff, and Northeast Florida Community Hospice Staff. The family will receive friends for remembrance and honor on Tuesday November 29, 2011 at the Hardage- Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Please join us in a Celebration of her life and Home going services in The Chapel of Town and Country Funeral Home on Normandy Blvd Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 2 pm in the afternoon. .Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
