Daniel K. Kincaid

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- Daniel Keith Kincaid, 37, formerly of Beckley, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, at his home following a short illness.

Born April 21, 1961, at Beckley, he was the son of Kyle and Drema Lyons Kincaid of Beckley.

Mr. Kincaid was a self-employed engineer and taught at the Rochester School of Music, Rochester, N.Y. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley, where he was the first male Drum Major with the Flying Eagle Band, he graduated from West Virginia University, Morgantown, where he was a Drum Major with the WVU Marching Band from
1980-1982 and he was a former Drum Major for the Garfield Cadets of New Jersey and was a Protestant.

Other survivors include a sister, Debra O'Neal and her husband, David, of Beckley; two nephews, Jeremy Fitch and Will O'Neal, both of Beckley; family friend, Dr. Steve Russell, of Parkersburg; several aunts and uncles; 26 cousins.

Graveside rites and committal services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Kincaid Cemetery, Kincaid, with the Rev. Harold Murphy and Pastor Dorothy Osborne officiating, with eulogy by Dr. Steve Russell.

Family and friends wishing to attend the services may meet by 12:15 p.m. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill.

The family will receive friends Friday at the Scarbro United Methodist Church following the graveside rites.
