Paul F. Harter, 82, of Lykens, passed away Monday February 11, 2013, at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.
Born September 8, 1930, he was son of the late Jesse W. and Nellie (Underwood) Harter.
Paul was Past Master in 1979 of Perseverance Lodge #21 F&AM as well as an active member of the Zembo Shrine; Zembo Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. Police Unit; Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forest #43; Elks Lodge #12; the Harrisburg Consistory; the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #3000; American Legion Post #124; Upper Dauphin Shrine Club; and Shriners.
He loved to play golf and participate in activities with his organizations.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Surviving him are several nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Wiconisco Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Learning Center for Children, 2701 N. Third Street, Box 5190, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
