Naomi "Noni" Jean Leseman, 72, of Bemidji, Minnesota died on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Havenwood Care Center in Bemidji, Minnesota after a long battle with cancer.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gemmell Community Church in Gemmell, MN with Rev. Sheldon Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Mizpah Cemetery in Mizpah, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
Naomi was born on August 22, 1936 in Goodridge, MN the daughter of John and Lillie (Dreke) Orrison. She attended school in Grand Rapids, MN graduating in 1954. She attended St. Mary's College in Duluth, and graduated in 1958 as a Registered Nurse. Naomi worked at the Ada Hospital for 7 years before working at the Northome Nursing home where she was the Assistant Director of Nursing, the Director of Nursing and a Charge Nurse. She moved from Mizpah to Bemidji where she has lived for the last couple of years. She was a member of the Gemmell Community Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers – Jack and Dave and one sister - Margaret
