Phoebe Ann Goff Adams, the youngest child of William H. and Barbara Goodwin Goff, was born at Hannahsville, West Virginia on February 7, 1894. She departed this life April 6, 1980, at the Clark County Nursing Home at Kahoka, Missouri.

At the age of six years she came to Scotland County, Missouri, with her parents and brothers and had resided here except for six years in Idaho.

On March 10, 1915, she was united in marriage to Fred C. Adams. To this union two daughters were born, Ellen Isabel and Vera Clementine.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, her parents, seven brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vera Hull of Wyaconda, Missouri, one brother, John M. Goff of Bull, Idaho, ten grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Wyaconda Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 9, 1980, at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church, Wyaconda, Missouri. The Rev. Stanley Ray officiated. Burial was in the Memphis Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eddie Hull, Daryl Hull, Dale Hull, Jack Roberts, Larry Roberts and Dick Roberts.
