A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday for Jennifer Ann Lawrence of Farrell. She passed away at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in the emergency room of UPMC Horizon, Farrell. She was 35.

Mrs. Lawrence was born June 22, 1977, in Sharon to Richard Hodge and Constance "Connie" Hood Hodge.

She graduated from what was then Kennedy Christian High School in 1995 and continued her education by attending Youngstown State University.

Jennifer was homemaker and was currently working at night stocking shelves at Walmart, Hermitage.

She was a member of Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.

In her younger years, Jennifer was very active in beauty pageants, as a runner-up in 1993 as Miss Teen Pennsylvania and also as Miss Mercer County.

Jennifer enjoyed writing and was currently working on writing a fictional novel of the four seasons.

Her husband, John Lawrence, whom she married Dec. 5, 1997, survives at home.

Also surviving are: her mother, Sharpsville; two daughters, Mackenzie Lawrence and Avery Lawrence; and four sons, John Lawrence Jr., Hunter Lawrence, Noah Lawrence and Conner Lawrence, all at home; a sister, Elizabeth Zipay; two brothers, Chris Hodge and Wesley Hodge; and a godchild and niece, Ariana Schell, all Sharpsville.

She was preceded in death by her father.
