Garry Lee Collins, 66, of Cedar Creek Cave Road, Greeneville, died Wednesday at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Collins was a retired farmer.

He attended Cedar Creek Church of God as long as his health permitted.

His family stated, "He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather."

Survivors include his wife of 47 years: Margaret Collins; three daughters and sons-in-law: Jamie and Bill Lyons, Kelly and Bo Holt, and Jill and Billy Shelton; a son and daughter-in-law: Jason and Holly Collins; seven grandchildren: Laura Bailey, Brandy Morgan, Holly Morgan, Zachary Holt, Hannah Holt, Jaelyn Collins, and Bryson Collins; four great-grandchildren: Payton Bailey, Ty Bailey, Chelsea Morgan, and Addison Crawford; a brother and sister-in-law: Billy and Linda Collins; a special nephew: Todd Collins; a special niece: Melanie Oakes; several other "loved" nieces and nephews; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Iva Mae and J.D. Nease, Joyce and Sonny Riddle, Katie and Dale Luttrell, Gene and Peggy Gefellers, and Ed and Jeanett Gefellers; and a special friend: Lester Davis.

He was a son of the late Lee and Frances Simpson Collins and was preceded in death by a brother, Pat Collins.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Darryl Allen and the Rev. Brice Casey will officiate.

A committal service will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to travel in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Shelton, Todd Collins, Larry Seay, Bo Holt, Johnny Davis, Buddy Seaton, Donnie Crum, and Tim Shelton.

Honorary pallbearers will be John R. Davis, Norman Hunley, Minnis Waddell, Jim Shelton, Hoot Bowers, Marty Renner, Jeff Holt, Dennis Cain, David Stills, Jim Holt, Mike Bowers, John Bowers, and all of his Cedar Creek "farming buddies
