Marvin Matthew Massey, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a gallant battle with familial amyloidosis. Marv served his country during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed traveling and was fluent in many languages. His Texas dry wit entertained his family and friends. Marv lived a long and happy life with his wife of 29 years, Rebecca, and their loving and wonderful children, Eric Massey of Pasadena, CA and Diana Massey of Arlington, VA. He is also survived by a very supportive brother, Wayne Massey of El Paso, TX; his aunt, Queene, and her husband, Carl Morrison, of Las Cruces, NM and his uncle, Robert White and his wife, Darlene, of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by a niece and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Nettie Massey of El Paso, TX and his sister Donita Massey Gray of Las Cruces, NM.
