Claudia Estella Gosnell, 95, of the Newport Highway, died Tuesday at Takoma Adventist Hospital.

Mrs. Gosnell was a homemaker and the widow of Nepoleon Bonopart Gosnell.

She was a Baptist.

Survivors include a son: Farley Gosnell of Greeneville; a
daughter and son-in-law: Phyllis A. and Terry Lee Hensley of Greeneville; a daughter-in-law: Mrs. Bill (Gertrude "Trudy") Gosnell; four granddaughters: Tammy Annette Hayes, Frances Bogle, Diane Price, and Billie Gail Collins; three grandsons: Billy Joe Shelton, Tommy Gosnell, and Lenny Norton; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother: Carl Stills; two sisters: Josephine Stills of Cleveland and Bessie Stills of Greeneville; two sisters-in-law: Dollie Tweed and Maggie Franklin; a special friend: Ida Ruth Million of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Connstance (Connie) Norton burial at River Hill; a son: William T. (Bill) Gosnell burial at Greenelawn ; two brothers: Thomas Stills and Hubert Stills; and a sister: Glenna Cannon.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Kiser Funeral Home and other times at the home of Phyllis and Terry Hensley, 275 Flag Branch Road, Greeneville.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at Kiser Funeral Chapel with interment in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Buster Shelton and the Rev. Glen Holt will officiate.

Active pallbearers will be Bill Stills, Linton Stills, Jack Stills, Jeff Hayes, Gene Stills, and Earl Collins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Nathan Horner and Dr. Jeffrey Harris.
