Ida Marie (ENYEART) Steger, 87, Franklin, died Sunday evening in Johnson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 21, 1906, in Wabash County. She attended Marion Community Schools. She was a former resident of Indianapolis and Fort Myers, Florida. She retired in 1970 from the AC Delco Plant, General Motors Division, after 20 years service as a PBX operator. She was a member of the Past Matron's Club, Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 131, Daughters of the Nile, Oriental Shrine, and White Shrine.
Surviving are one sister, Louise McNeely, Van Buren; and a brother, Leslie C. ENYEART, Columbia, South Carolina.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ransford Chapel, Indiana Masonic Home, Franklin. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Owenton, Kentucky.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. OES services will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to the Indiana Masonic Home Foundation, c/o the funeral home.
