Betty J. Wolfe, 86, of 701 E. Market St., Gratz, passed away Monday at her residence. She was born in Hegins, Feb. 13, 1926, a daughter of the late Albert Ebert and Irene Ely Ebert. She was a 1943 graduate of the former Hegins Township High School. She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Fearnot. Betty enjoyed drawing, painting and sewing. She was the costume designer and most important fan of the Wolfe family band. Betty was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and housewife. She was preceded in death by her a son, Larry E. Wolfe; a daughter, Sandra L. Wolfe; a great-grandson, Anthony J. Satterly; and a daughter-in-law, Susanne L. Wolfe.
