Born February 8, 1923 in Charleston, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Fines and JoVera (Reeves) Gafford. She graduated from Hobart High School and she married Steven J. Pittas on March 7, 1942. They lived in Hobart from 1942 until 1956. From 1956 until 1976 they lived in Valparaiso and Hebron area. They moved to Hardwood, Michigan in 1976. Mrs. Pittas was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. She also loved fishing, cooking and gardening. Geneva is survived by her husband, Steven; four daughters, Sandra (Kenneth) Coslet and Susan (Victor) Pollard, both of Valparaiso, Kathy (John) Mattson of
