Lauria R. (Jackson) Gregory, 62, of New Castle, passed away Feb. 6, 2013 at her residence.

She was born July 12, 1950, in Anderson and was a graduate of Madison Heights High School and Ball State University. She lived the last 20 years in New Castle and had been a teacher at Riley Elementary School.

She is survived by her parents; William and Lily Jackson of Anderson; her daughter, Stacey Hosier Beck (husband Steve) of West Lafayette; granddaughters, Ava and Mia Beck of West Lafayette; sister-in-law, Janet Jackson; niece, Molly Jackson; nephew, Brendan Jackson, all of Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Jackson.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home 515 E. 53rd St. Anderson IN 46013.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
