Mrs Ellen Cutter of Wheeler Dies
Mrs Ellen Cutter, 87 years, four months and two days, wife of Frederick Cutter, died Sunday night at 8:15 o'clock at the home of her son, Charles Cutter, at Wheeler, where she had been residing for the past two years. Mrs Cutter had been ill eight months. In addition, there are two brothers, a sister, 29 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The body was shipped this morning to Maryland for the funeral services and interment.
Ellen Humberston was born the 27 Sep 1845 to William S. and Mary (Twigg) Humberston---the third child ad second daughter, in Allegany County, Md.. Ellen's siblings were Frisby, Salina, Noah, Greenbury, Howard, Margaret, Franklin Jr., and Salary "Saley".
Ellen married to Frederick G. Cutter 14 April 1870 in Cumberland, Maryland.
Ellen and Fred had 5 children: William Frederick, Charles, Elizabeth, Joseph and Margaret.
Ellen's husbamd Frederick passed away 14 January 1922.
Ellen died 29 Jan 1933 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pa.at age 87 years. She was buried with her husband on the Cutter Family Farm outside Lonaconing.
Ellen's sister Margaret passed away one month later on 26 February 1933, and brother Howard on 12 December 1933.
Three of the 9 siblings passed away in the same year.
