On August 13, 1903, BERTHA E., beloved wife of Howard B. Shipley, and daughter of Mrs. J. A. Hughes and the late Evan R. Hughes. The relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral, from her late residence, No. 1314 Argyle avenue, this (Sunday) afternoon, at 3 o'clock. Interment (private) in Loudon Park.

Mrs. Bertha E. Shipley, wife of Howard B. Shipley, died Thursday night at the home of her mother, Mrs. J. A. Hughes, 1314 Argyle avenue. She was born in Howard county November 7, 1867. The funeral will take place from the above residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in Loudon Park. The pallbearers will be Messrs. G. H. Whitehouse, Frederick Hantske, William Davis, Robert Shipley, William Shipley and Frederick Scott. The services will be held at the house.
