Martha Emeline Shelby LEE married Washington Levi LEE(b ca 1825 TN)30 June 1846 in Henderson County, TN. They came to Texas ca 1857 and settled in Anderson County. Levi enlisted in the CSA, 1st Texas Infantry, Co H and was killed in battle at the Battle of Gaines Mill on 27 June 1862, Cold Harbor, VA. His CSA burial record shows Anderson County, TX as his resting place although that is hard to imagine being transported back to TX in 1862 for burial.

Mary Elizabeth ca 1850-1859 (killed by falling tree)
John Bruce ca 1852-1887 (died from Thyphoid)
