William T. Metz, 73 years old, died yesterday at his home, 116 Pine street, Nazareth. He was born Jan. 28, 1869, in Plainfield Township, son of the late David and Mary Achenbach Metz. He was a retired cement worker and was a member of the A. F. of L.; Knights of Friendship, and St. John's Evangelical Reformed Church, all of Nazareth. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Amelia Hoch Metz; four sons, Clarence and Otto, at home; Claude, Nazareth; Victor, New Cumberland; two daughters, Miss Charlotte Metz, Easton, and Mrs. Truman Bittenbender, Hecktown; three brothers, Richard, Wind Gap; Eugene and Charles, Nazareth; two sisters, Mrs. Milton Kessler, and Mrs. Agnes Bittenbender, Nazareth; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Bartholomew funeral home, 211 East Center street, Nazareth, and interment will be in Hope cemetery, Hecktown.
