Bob met Bonnie Gillison in 1976. They later married and had celebrated 37 years together.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roger.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie of the home, three sons; Edward, Robert and wife Jennifer, Michael and wife Michelle; one daughter, Shae Smith and husband Jason; 8 grandchildren; Elizabeth Ann, Austin, Peyton, Cale, Cora Ruthann, Austa, Elizabeth Victoria, and Liam Daniel, one brother, Michael E.Bleckler and one sister, Donna Bleckler.
Bob was in the Army and served our country during the Vietnam War.
Bob was a talented diesel truck mechanic. He owned and operated his own business for several years and loved to work on "his" trucks. He found great enjoyment in driving and seeing the countryside.
He had many hobbies besides working on trucks. He was an avid coin and stamp collector. He worked with wood, enjoyed gardening and was always ready to go fishing. Being outdoors was always a way for him to find relaxation from the struggles and troubles of everyday living.
Bob was a great teacher, mentor and friend to many people. His children looked up to him and counted him as the "greatest Dad", and he adored his grandchildren. The lessons he taught them will always be remembered and cherished.
Bob will be missed by those who knew and love him.
