Clara's parents were George & Matilda Troutman, who left Mercer County, Pa. George's real name was Lawrence Dunham, son of Azariah Dunham & Elizabeth Troutman, changed his name to his grandfather's, George Troutman.
Matilda Coleman was married to Vanransler "Vance" Morford, they had 6 children. Matilda and her neighbor young "Lawrence Dunham" just vanished together.
An article in our local Mercer County paper cleared the mystery in 1905, when "Matilda Troutman" showed up to try and claim her former husband's estate.
