Ryan Nathaniel Ward
(February 19, 1985 - February 3, 2013)

Our beloved son Ryan Ward, 27, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013.

He was born on February 19, 1985 to Marriner James and Kim Jones Ward. Ryan grew up in Layton. He graduated from Layton High School and LDS Seminary in 2003.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ryan served a mission to the Richmond, Virginia Mission from 2004 – 2006. He was a student attending UVU and was nearing the completion of degrees in psychology and pre-med for a career in helping others.

He was adventurous and enjoyed going on road trips. He had a great circle of friends that he enjoyed hanging out with and they were a great support to him. Ryan was a good person with a fun personality and a kind heart.

He is survived by his parents, brothers, Jeremy, Brendon, Jason and Tyler Ward, sisters, Shaelyn (Jake) Christensen, and Kristina Ward, grandparents, Russell Dean and Connie Jones and Cleo Ward.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leon Thomas Ward.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Donations may be made at any America First Credit Union under the name of Ryan Ward.
