Mr. Herbert McLemore, age 81, of Hampton, GA passed away January 24, 2013. Mr. McLemore was born in Sumner, GA the son of the late David Hazard and Eva Lottie Williams McLemore Sr. He was also preceded in death by several siblings and his first wife, Nina Ferguson McLemore. Mr. McLemore served his country in the United State Air Force. He was a member of Hampton First Baptist Church and a member of the Hampton Masonic Lodge where he had just received his 50 year pin. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, traveling, gardening and was known for his famous tomatoes. Survivors are his wife, Bettie McLemore of Hampton; children, Pam McLemore of McDonough, Rita and David Camp of McDonough, Stanley and Tammy McLemore of Hampton, Lynn and Freddie Whitt of Stockbridge, Debbie and Billy Wommack of Byron, and Kay Park of Hawkinsville; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Virginia Perry of Colorado Springs, Eva Horne of Warner Robins, James Henry McLemore of Orlando, Horace Carter of Albany, David McLemore Jr. of Plains and Louvine Adams of Plains.
